MM2400 combines advanced character recognition and image processing toread text and images from typewritten, typeset, laser, dot-matrix, andother computer-generated print. MM2400 can be used to read forms and/orcontinuous text documents into computer systems for electronicpublishing, databases, and general business applications, for a highlycost-effective alternative to keyboard data entry.MM2400 includes the following features:

Reads virtually any font, from 6-point to 28-point size, bold or

italic, at speeds up to 2400 characters per second.

Recognizes text and image, portrait or landscape orientations.
Handles complex document formats, including multiple columns and text

intermixed with graphics without operator intervention.

Works with CCITT Group III and CCITT Group IV compressed images.
Has RS-232 and SCSI host connections.
